Information Technology & Management Systems
The department of Information Technology and Management Systems shall prepare its students to acquire the latest theory and practice in the field. Students shall be trained technically and conceptually to analyze and undertake decisions appropriate to the introduction, maintenance, and upgrading of information technology and related management systems to meet requirements of the time. Graduates are empowered to pursue any professional certificates in software, databases, networks, Internet and related technologies. Graduates can also pursue their academic higher education locally, regionally or internationally.
To graduate with a BS degree in Business Administration with concentration in Information Technology and Management Systems, a student must complete 99 credits, including general university requirements (21 credits); business core requirements (36 credits); major requirements (27 credits), and free (9 credits) and technical (6 credits) electives.
