  Despite that Al Maaref University is a newly established higher education institution in Lebanon. Dr. Anwar Abd Al-Hadi Abou Taha / Palestine- Lebanon

Earned his Ph.D. in Political Sociology from the Lebanese University. He is a specialized researcher in Islamic and Political Sociology.

Member of the Board of Trustees of Al-Quds Institution and the National Islamic Convention, and the General Secretariat of Palestinian Writers and Journalists Union. Authored many books, technical publications, essays, and research papers on Political Islam, Islamic Movements, and ‘Salafi Jihadism’. His book “Fighters of the Holy Land: The Origins and Ideology of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement from 1975 to 2020” will be published soon.
