  Despite that Al Maaref University is a newly established higher education institution in Lebanon. Brigadier General Dr. Amine Mohammad Hoteit

University instructor and researcher, after retirement from service with the Lebanese army. He earned several technical military diplomas culminating in a Diploma in Military Higher Education. Moreover, he earned a Bachelor degree in Law, and two Master degrees in Private Law and Public Law. Later he earned his Doctorate in Law. All his degrees are from the Lebanese University.

He has more than 100 research and journal papers and around 600 newspaper and magazine articles whose topics vary from military studies, law, politics, strategy, and Islamic studies; all published in Lebanese, Arab, and international journals.

Besides his writings, he has many TV and radio appearances as well as participations in local, regional and international conferences. He has earned several commendations and medals.
