  Despite that Al Maaref University is a newly established higher education institution in Lebanon. Professor Mahmoud Mohammad Charafedine

Dr. Mahmoud Mohammad Charafedine

University lecturer and researcher. Earned his Bachelor and Master in Architectural Engineering from the Lebanese University. Then he earned another Master degree in Urban Design from University of Paris 8. While he earned his Doctorate in Urban Design from University of Paris 1, Sorbonne, France.

He has more than 35 years in university education. Participated in more than 25 local, regional and International scientific conventions. He has published tens of research papers, projects, and chapters in the art of building, urban design, education, and energy. His professional experience includes engineering consultancy (in the private and public fields), beside his membership in scientific and vocational committees in the Lebanese University.
