  Despite that Al Maaref University is a newly established higher education institution in Lebanon. The University has a very clear vision sourced by qualified and highly motivated academic, administrative and support personnel who combined multifarious local, regional and international experiences in higher education.

Professor Tayssir Abbass Hamieh

University professor and professional researcher for more than 30 years. Earned the Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Chemical Engineering and Process Engineering from the National Engineering Institute for Industrial Chemistry in Leon and Nancy, France. He also earned his Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and Doctorate in pure mathematics from Besançon University, France. Later he earned another Master of Science in industrial chemistry from the National Polytechnic Institute in Loren, France. Beside all the above he earned a second doctorate degree in industrial physical chemistry from Alsace, France and a professional diploma (HDR) in the direction and management of research.

He has six scientific theories registered to his name and has published more than 370 refereed journal papers. He presented and participated in more than 150 international scientific conventions. He is also a journal referee for more than 30 scientific international journals. His professional experience is in many academic fields beside his membership in professional associations and being coordinator of international agreements.
