ARB 100 Arabic Remedial III
ARB100 is the third and last remedial part of the IAP combined sequence. Students who successfully complete ARB 100 may enroll in for credit IAP courses based on their assessment results (successful completion criteria may vary depending on the major applied for).
The course is expected to achieve the learning objectives at the intermediate to upper-intermediate levels. The course is a learner-focused that engages students through a set of language games, role-plays, authentic materials and also task-oriented practices.
There is a set of assessment methods used for the course such as regular assignments, quizzes, partial exams, projects and the final exam.
The course has a six-credit course where each remedial credit equals 20 hours and amounting to 120 hours per semester; 3 days per week; 7.5 hours per week; 2 hrs & 30 min per day.
