BS in Information Technology and Management Systems
The department of Information Technology and Management Systems prepare its students to acquire the latest theory and practice in the field. Students are trained technically and conceptually to analyze and undertake decisions appropriate to the introduction, maintenance, and upgrading of information technology and related management systems to meet the requirements of the time. Graduates are empowered to pursue any professional certificates in software, databases, networks, the Internet, and related technologies. Graduates can also pursue their academic higher education locally, regionally, or internationally.
To graduate with a BS degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Technology and Management Systems, a student must complete 99 credits, including general university requirements (21 credits), business core requirements (36 credits), major requirements (27 credits), electives (9 credits) and technical electives (6 credits).
