Handling Study Journey Confidently
Students must take extensive academic courses counted towards their 99 credits of their major of study namely, University General Education Requirements (GER) and University General Education Electives Requirements (GEE). The aforementioned form part of a set of compulsory courses adding to 21 credits for the former and 9 credits for the latter, altogether amounting to 30 credits.
These courses enable students to handle confidently both comprehension and application of the Major’s content linguistically, culturally and mathematically. They are essential preparatory courses for the university academic journey and will equip students with all the foundation material needed for an assured progress on the degree program.
The academic support courses are shared and taken by all university students regardless of their faculty membership or study.
In addition to the regular Arabic and English courses, students must take a number of courses to meet the University General Education Requirements (GEE).
The Faculty of Religions and Humanities has the responsibility to deliver the CST 200 Cultural Studies as well as some of the General Education Electives GEE 201, 202, and 203, courses that are taught in Arabic language and are three-credit bearing each towards your Major.
Students are reminded that the General Education Electives Requirements are three courses amounting to nine credits. These courses can be elected from any courses offered per semester from the area of Liberal Arts.
