Approaches in Grammar: Bridging Structure & Meaning Workshop

"Kitab wa Turjuman", the student club of the Translation and Languages Department at Al Maaref University (MU), kicked off an engaging workshop on the 20th of October, 2023. The event, titled "Approaches in Grammar: Bridging Structure and Meaning," was led by a group of Arabic language professors from MU and was hosted in the cozy confines of the university’s library (Block A).

Attended by both students and graduates from the department, the workshop highlighted the importance of grammar in understanding the meaning of texts, emphasizing its role in textual analysis. It also showcased how text creators use grammar and employ various structures to convey meanings effectively.

The workshop featured a series of interactive activities between the professors and the participants. To cap off the day, Dr. Zeinab Anis Jaber, The Department's Chairperson, presented certificates of appreciation to the professors- Dr. Ghada Allaw, Dr. Maha Al-Khansa, and Dr. Mohammad Hodroj. Furthermore, the participants were awarded certificates in recognition of their attendance.
