"Basma" Club organizes a workshop on First Aid Measures
On Thursday, March 23, 2023, “Basma” Club at Al Maaref University organized a training workshop on first aid measures and how to deal with initial injuries. The workshop was presented by trainer Ayman Taher, on the university campus, in the presence of the MU Clubs.
During the workshop, the trainer introduced first aid measures and the basic skills, referring to the most prominent emergencies and accidents, when to help and how to act, stressing the need not to intervene indiscriminately if there is not enough information about the situation.
The trainer also explained what steps are needed in emergency situations and accidents of various kinds, such as: cardiac arrest, asphyxiation, choking, disturbance or change in the degree of consciousness, how to provide first aid measures to burns, as well as dealing with fractures, cuts, bleeding or in other cases such as snakes, insects, animal bites or other injuries.
