“Delve Into a Book”: MU Library Revitalizes Book Sessions
By reviving the book discussions just as the academic year ushered in, Al Maaref University Library organized a series of panel discussions led by the university academic and administrative bodies revolving around a selection of books to share their content with others and spread the benefit.
March 4, 2022, witnessed the library’s second panel discussion with the Chairperson of the Department of Translation and Languages, Mrs. Zeinab Anis Jaber, on the Flatland Novel, in the presence of a number of academic and administrative bodies.
The library had previously organized the first panel discussion on December 26, 2021, where the Chairperson of the Quranic Studies & Prophetic Hadith Department at the Faculty of Religions and Humanities, Dr. Fadi Nasser, discussed the “Knowing Yourself for Reconstruction” [Maarifat Al-That Libinaeiha Al-Jadid] Book in the presence of a number of academic and administrative bodies as well as the President of Al Maaref University, Professor Ali Alaeddine, who inaugurated the series of panel discussions.
These meetings come in the context of the library's endeavor to promote a culture of reading, notably after returning to in-person learning at the university campus.
