Enhancing Professional Skills: MUCPC Training Days

Al Maaref University Career Placement Center (MUCPC) organized a series of training days titled "MUCPC: Soft Skills Boot Camp." The workshops were presented by Mr. Joe Shahwan, a certified career coach and skill development trainer. The event took place during the months of April and May 2024 at the university campus in Beirut, with the presence of students on the verge of graduating from the following faculties: Engineering (FoE), Sciences (FoS), Health Sciences (FHS), and Religions and Human Sciences (FRH).

Over the course of full training days for each faculty separately, various crucial aspects of professional growth were addressed, including the development of effective CVs and the art of crafting compelling cover letters.

The workshops centered on enhancing participants' communication skills, exploring personal branding, and underscoring the importance of improving their profiles on the LinkedIn platform to establish a strong presence on social media.

In the final segment, the workshop delved into valuable strategies for interview preparation, equipping participants with the necessary skills and confidence to navigate the competitive job market.

Preceding these training days, there was a boot camp in March 2024 for students graduating from the faculties of Business Administration (FBA) and Mass Communication and Fine Arts (MCFA).

At the conclusion of each workshop, Dr. Abdul Safadi, the center director, presented participation certificates to the students.
