FBA Holds Webinar on Contemporary Trends in Int’l Business

The Faculty of Business Administration at Al Maaref University organized a webinar on “Contemporary Trends in International Business: Opportunities and Challenges “on Wednesday, April 27, 2022.

The main speakers were:

- Professor Thomas Walenta - Global Project Economy Expert
- Professor Jassem Ajaka – Full Professor of Physics and Economics
- Dr. Ahmad El Zein - University lecturer and international trainer

The Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration Professor Bassam Hamdar initiated the webinar, introduced the speakers, and highlighted the importance of peace for global economic growth and prosperity.

For his part, Professor Walenta addressed the significance of time in supply chain and underlined the opportunities and challenges of global trade. On the other hand, Professor Ajaka referred to economic growth, inflation, and today’s global trade, stressing the economic difficulties created by the covid-19 pandemic; namely the financial hardships and unemployment.

Conclusively, Dr. El Zein, who’s also the webinar coordinator, pointed out the impact of global trade on economic growth and development.
