FBA Organizes Workshop on "Social Security Accounting"
As part of an unabating series of specialized workshops, the Accounting Department at Al Maaref University's Faculty of Business Administration organized on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, the third workshop for major students on "Social Security Accounting" in cooperation with the Scientific Society for Accounting and Business Administration.
The workshop, which targets third-year students paving the road for them to join the workforce with merit, was presented by Hassan Ftouni, a member of the Lebanese Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Throughout the session, students got acquainted with the Lebanese social security (NSSF) system: who can benefit and how, its funding methods and expenditures, and its official formalities and documents. In addition, the basic conditions and provisions of employee enrollment in the NSSF program were extensively presented in the workshop. Accordingly, students carried out a practical application to various rules, standards, and laws previously covered.
Students also had the opportunity to benefit from apprenticeship in one of the pioneer associations in their field of specialization so as to source the best optimal skills and overcome upcoming challenges. In the end, participants received a Certificate of Participation signed by the Faculty Dean and the Association President.
