FBA Participates in an Intl. Conference about Online Education
The Faculty of Business Administration at Al Maaref University has effectively participated in the Scholarship of Tertiary Teaching Online Conference 2020, which was organized virtually by the Central Queensland University in Australia on the 13th and 14th of October, 2020.
The conference hosted hundreds of Academics, University Leaders, Governmental Entities, Professional Associations, and Researchers from across the globe representing diverse countries and educational systems and cultures to discuss issues related to E-learning.
Dr. Ali El Dirani, Assistant Dean, and Dr. Hassan Rkein, Accounting Chairman, from the Faculty of Business Administration at Al Maaref University have presented the following two topics respectively:
Topic 1: Remote instruction Or Instructing Remotely: Spring 2020 Educators’ Experience.
Topic 2: Innovative Assessments for Quality Learning Experience.
In addition, Dr. El Dirani was invited as a special guest panelist to the Hot Topic Panel Discussion session alongside three distinguished guests from the USA, Malaysia, and Australia discussing controversial and contemporary E-Learning matters such as: flipped classroom, student engagement, collaborate learning, and graduate attributes. The session was attended by more than 60 participants representing different universities and professional bodies from across the globe.
