"HRM" Students Participate in Workshop on Lebanese Labor Law

The Faculty of Business Administration at Al Maaref University organized, on Friday, May 21, 2021, a training workshop for Human Resources Management students under the title: "Lebanese Labor Law", presented by Dr. Haitham Fadlallah.

Dr. Fadlallah pointed throughout the day to the groups that are subject to the Lebanese Labor Law and those excluded from it, then he elaborated on how contracts are formulated, the required conditions and reasons for employment termination, etc…

The trainer also touched on working hours and their scheduling and the Leave policy and types, introducing the most prominent workers' rights stipulated in the Lebanese code, which are not respected in some institutions and companies.

The workshop included a study, a discussion of practical cases, and training for students. In conclusion, the Faculty Dean, Professor Bassam Hamder, and his assistant, Dr. Ali El Dirani, presented the students with certificates of participation and presented on behalf of the faculty a certificate of appreciation to Dr. Fadlallah, in appreciation of his efforts during the workshop.
