Iranian Deputy Minister of Science, Research, and Technology, Dr. Hashem Dadashpoor, and his accompanying delegation held talks with the President of Al Maaref University, Professor Ali Alaeddine, and members of the University Council to discuss ways of academic cooperation between the Universities of Iran and Al Maaref University, on Thursday, June 15, 2023, on the university campus.

At first, Professor Alaeddine welcomed the delegation and thanked them for their visit. Furthermore, he introduced to them Al Maaref University, its mission and objectives, and the role it aspires to play in making life with science and knowledge. Dr. Alaeddine emphasized the crucial work needed to build a generation of distinguished youth on the scientific and moral levels and also expressed the desire for coordination and cooperation between the Universities of Iran and Al Maaref University.

Following that, Dr. Dadashpoor introduced the accompanying delegation, which includes, in addition to the acting director of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Hassan Khalili, and the Cultural Counselor of the Republic of Iran in Lebanon, Sayed. Kamille Baqer, the presidents of Iranian Universities: President of Imam Khomeini International University (ra), Sayyed Ali Qassemzadeh, President of the University Isfahan Hossein Harsij, President of Ferdowsi University in Mashhad, Dr. Ahad Dabet, and the President of Allameh Tabatab’a’i University, Dr. Abdullah Motamadi, and directors of other offices, stressing their full readiness to enhance scientific and research cooperation between Iranian Universities and Al Maaref University, and to launch joint projects.

After that, the delegation toured the University's labs of Media and Arts, where the Dean of the faculty, Dr. Ali Takach, gave a detailed explanation of these labs, indicating their high technical and artistic advantages.
