"Islamophobia in the French Media” Seminar

Students of the Faculty of Mass Communications and Fine Arts at Maaref University organized a seminar titled "Islamophobia in the French Media - Bias Without Objectivity” on Saturday, December 12.

The seminar was held in an integrated format with a virtual audience on Google Meet as well as a real audience in the university auditorium.

The event included discussions from students taking a seminar course and included the following titles:
- Secularism in the world, presented by Hassan Awad,
- Secularism in France, presented by Mariam Saqr,
- Are terrorist organizations an international industry? Presented by Mohammad Sabbouri,
- Islam and misconceptions, presented by Hussein Rashid,
- The Arab and local media coverage of the recent attacks in France, presented by Nour Oyoun Kazbar,
- The French media coverage of the recent attacks in France, presented by Fatima Saleh.

The seminar also included a series of questions and debates.
