MCFA Hosts Shiraz Hayek on “Truth Uncovered” Documentary

The Faculty of Mass Communication and Fine Arts (MCFA) at Al Maaref University inaugurated a series of meetings, dubbed “Fridays for Distinction & Innovation”, on Friday, March 11, 2022, with a seminar hosting the director of the “Truth Uncovered: Beirut Port Blast” Documentary, Shiraz Hayek, at the university campus in Beirut.

At the outset, the first part of Al Mayadeen's exclusive documentary was broadcast before the faculty students, followed by an open discussion with the director who dwelt on the documentary’s circumstances, stages, and challenges she faced along with the crew. Hayek, afterwards, gave students constructive advice in this regard.

The seminar ended with an interaction discussion, where students posed questions on Hayek based on her professional experience.
