MCFA Organizes the Forum of Media Faculties in Lebanon 2nd Ed.
The Faculty of Media and Arts at Al-Maaref University organized on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, the “Forum of Media Faculties in Lebanon” in its second edition. Through the Clubhouse application, the forum hosted professors from various universities that include media faculties in Lebanon: Al-Maaref University, University of Balamand, Notre Dame University – Louaize (NDU), the Lebanese University, and the University Of Sciences And Arts in Lebanon (USAL).
The forum kicked off with a welcoming speech delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Media and Arts (MCFA) at Al-Maaref University (MU), Dr. Ali Takach.
Thereupon, the forum’s topics initiated as follows:
1. First Topic:
It dealt with the impact of the Corona pandemic on university life and the challenges faced by media faculties in organizing and implementing their educational programs since the outbreak of the pandemic.
The topic also dealt with the effects of Corona on the lives of students, their performance, and their psychological and social condition.

- Senior Lecturer of Mass Media and Communication at the University of Balamand, Dr. Dima Issa
- Participants were interviewed by Ghadi Fadel.
2. Second Topic:
It addressed the graduation projects for students of media faculties (Media Capstone) during the pandemic period, the difficulties they faced while completing their final projects, the challenges that arose, and how they were addressed, in addition to the changes and facilities that were applied.

The forum was monitored by student Saja Yazbek. Consequently, followers were able to ask their questions to which the guests duly responded.
