MU Arts Club Hosts Content Creators 'Bil-Amaliyyeh'

The Arts Club at Al Maaref University (MU) hosted content creators "Bil Amaliyyeh", including Hassan Koteish, Abdul Nabi Salman, and Hussein Nasser El-Din, in a dialogue seminar titled "Directed Comedy and Implicit Critique" on Tuesday and Thursday, March 12th and 14th, 2024, on the university campus in Beirut, attended by a crowd of students.

The guests were interviewed by the club's head, student Ahmad Atrissi, with each presenting a different approach to constructive comedy, showcasing several examples in this field from their content. The performers brainstormed ways to deliver thought-provoking messages, using satire to humorously critique society's norms while maintaining a comedic tone akin to actors, all while avoiding vulgarity and respecting the dignity of others.

The guests emphasized the role of comedy in raising awareness about various issues, shedding light on social problems and challenges individuals face in their daily lives.

It's worth mentioning that the seminar included short comedic interludes by the guests, amidst interactive atmospheres with the audience.
