MU Arts Club Hosts 'Karakib' Content Creators
The Arts Club at Al Maaref University (MU) hosted content creators, the actors Iyad Noureddine and Abu Iyad Noureddine, along with director Maitham Al-Shami, in a panel discussion titled "Art with Decorum: Preserving Values in an Unrestricted Era." The discussion was moderated by the club's head, student Ahmad Atrissi, on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at the university campus (Block A) in Beirut. The event was attended by a crowd of students and enthusiasts.
After reciting verses from the Holy Quran and the Lebanese national anthem, the guests discussed their artistic journey, starting from their work on "Taha" channel to the creation of independent content on social media platforms. They highlighted the challenges they faced at each stage, considering the limited financial resources and the use of mobile phones in the early stages.
The discussion delved into the evolution of their work, turning it into a professional endeavor that garnered millions of views. A comedic video created specifically for the students of MU was presented, followed by another video showcasing students' opinions on "Karakib" platform. Subsequently, an interactive Q&A session with the students took place, during which the guests offered valuable advice to those interested in the creative digital content industry.
In the conclusion, Mr. Ahmad Abbas, the Director of the ‘Student Activities and Life’ Office, presented the guests with a commemorative shield, and memorable photos were taken with the attendees.
