MU Clubs at Al Maaref University commemorated the memory of the late journalist Rabab Al-Hassan, in an event entitled "Resistant Media: Affiliation and Performance". The event was held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, in which they hosted Sheikh Hussein Zinedine and the journalist Nada Banjak, on the university campu, in the presence of Rabab’s father and the MU Clubs.

At first, a video about the biography of the late journalist was presented to the audience. Later on, her colleague at "Al-Noor" radio, Nada Bangak, made a speech in which she talked about her practical career and described it as  "a career full of struggles and achievements entrenched in the minds of listeners."

Sheikh Hussein Zinedine then held a speech in which he stressed the role of "women in all fields, the role of women in the field of media in particular and the jihad of clarification", noting that "hijab is not an obstacle to the advancement, development and creativity of women". Sheikh Zinedine commended the late's efforts, saying that "Rabab al-Hassan is a fighter, and she is the one who should give us the medal, not the other way around."

At the end of the event, a discussion took place between the students and the guests, and then memorial photos were taken.
