MU Clubs Held the First Annual Student Clubs Festival
MU clubs successfully hosted their 1st annual festival, "The Promised Justice," on February 27 and 28, 2024, at the university campus (Building C) in Beirut. This distinguished event, organized to commemorate the birth of Imam Mahdi (AJ), witnessed the presence of students as well as educational and administrative staff from the university.
The festivities on the first day commenced with a poetic session inspired by the occasion and presented by students. This was followed by a storytelling session with student Haj Hussein Mohsen, and the day concluded with Sayed Hijazi Hijazi, featuring the anthem “Salam Ya Mahdi.”
Continuing the program into the subsequent day, attendees were treated to an educational session with Dietitian Rajaa Al Annan. Students also had the opportunity to participate in a book signing session featuring the esteemed work "Roqaya" by the student Malak Mshawrab. The day continued with a chanting session led by Mr. Ismael Abbas and a health session held by Al Rassoul Al Aazam Hospital.
The celebration included specialized activities for the sports club, the podium club, and the reading club, in addition to a dedicated space for the university library and an area to support small projects. It's worth noting that the proceeds from the food corner went to the Student Support Fund at the university.
