MU Clubs organize their Annual Iftar 2023
In the presence of the President of Al Maaref University, Dr. Ali Alaeddine, MU Clubs held their Annual Iftar for students, on Monday and Tuesday, 3 and 4 April 2023, with the participation of Sheikh Muhammad Sbeity and Dr. Talal Atrissi, on the University campus, and the presence of more than two hundred students.
During the Iftar, a speech by the University’s President expressed his pleasure for participating in the blessed Iftar with the students, thanking the "MU clubs for organizing the iftar and for their distinguished activities, both quantitatively and qualitatively, that have been carried out during the recent period."
Dr. Alaeddine stressed the need to maintain the distinguished level of education for students, stressing that "the University is always striving to secure the necessary requirements for the educational process, but the students should also make efforts to reach the required level of education and achieve success."
Dr. Alaeddine pointed out that the University seeks for the graduate to be successful, not only on the educational level, "but also at a strong and confident personality level, capable of achieving ambitions and having hope for the future, to serve society and help it rise and become powerful."
In conclusion, the University President talked about the University's future projects, greeting the students, professors, and administrators participating in the Iftar.
During the Iftar, a speech by Dr. Attrissi addressed the issue of “progress” and the criteria on which it is supposed to be based to learn what progress is, and what it means, noting that "progress is not abbreviated by modern techniques but by human goals, or aspired to by groups and nations. These objectives are the key, while the techniques are only tools to serve the goal. "
In turn, Sheikh Sbeity stressed during the students' Iftar the importance of identifying one's goals and having a great goal and a sacred goal, explaining that the great goal is what the individual achieves towards himself, while the sacred goal is the goal that serves society and humanity as a whole, calling on students to always build a strong relationship with God Almighty.
