MU Honors High School Directors
In recognition of the educational role in shaping future generations, the Student Affairs Deanship at MU organized a ceremony to honor high school directors in Lebanon on Friday, March 1, 2024, at Assaha Heritage Village in Beirut. The event was attended by the University President, Prof. Ali Alaeddine, and approximately 45 directors and representatives from private and public high schools.
After welcoming the attendees by the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Kamal Lezzaik, a film about the university, the services of the deanship, and the activities of the guidance office was presented. Following that, the university president delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of the partnership between the university and high schools, describing it as a "single family responsible for education, teaching, and human development." He stated, "We share a significant and honorable responsibility that requires patience, dedication, and commitment to the mission of education."
Alaeddine highlighted that "the university is keen on providing a positive role model," pointing out that "a strong individual is one who possesses knowledge and adheres to noble ethical and humanitarian values."
In conclusion, the participants praised the meeting and the atmosphere of cooperation and love that prevailed.
