MU PARTICIPATED IN THE 15th LCPC
For the third consecutive year, Al Maaref University participated in the 15th Lebanese Collegiate Programming Competition (LCPC). 15 students represented the university and were divided into five teams among 59 participating teams from different Lebanese universities.
The students are Saleh Marji, Zahraa Al-Husseini, Mohamad Mahdi Marji, Mona Badran, Mohamad Al-Asbat, Ali Jradi, Ali Naim, Mohamnad Al-Rhayem, Ali Al-Rhayem, Mohammad Al-Khansa, Haidar Tawbe, Ali Shoumar, Mustafa Abbara, Mohammad Hodroj, and Ahmad Al-Attrash. “ClockSpeed” team, composed of the students Saleh Marji, Zahraa Al-Husseini, and Mohamad Mahdi Marji, secured the 17th place, while team “Test Case 0”, composed of Mona Badran, Mohamad Al-Asbat, and Ali Jradi, acquired the 22nd place. MU ranked 5th out of 12 universities. The competition took place on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at AUB.
The LCPC is a national algorithmic programming contest for university students, where teams of three compete to solve challenging programming problems. The first three teams are qualified for the regional African and Arab contest (ACPC), which also qualifies for the World finals - the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC).
