MU’s FBA Launches HR Webinar Series with Domain Experts

The Faculty of Business Administration at Al Maaref University organized a series of virtual webinars in Human Resources Management, on Thursday the 4th and Wednesday the 10th of November 2021, conducted by specialized guest speakers.

HR Technology Entrepreneur Mr. Shadi Zebian from Lebanon, and lecturer at the Faculty of Finance and FinTech from the University of Louisiana Monroe in the United States, Dr. Shakir Ullah.

The first virtual webinar, entitled “The Rise of People Analytics”, addressed the need to use data analysis for sustainable development in order to better manage the performance of employees, motivate them, develop their skills and maintain them towards permanent advancement of the workforce. It also tackled other realities and future prospects in the field of Human Resource Management.

The second virtual webinar shed light on the current status, foresight, and challenges for "Human Capital Demands in the Financial Technologies (FinTech) Industry" along with recommendations of HRM so as to attract and select the best competencies that keep pace with this development, and the mechanism for maintaining them.

Both webinars came as part of a series of specialized sessions on the prospects, challenges, and future of HRM, which was launched by the faculty for the Fall semester 2021-2022, with the aim of developing students' skills and knowledge in their field of specialization. At the end of the webinars, students were engaged in an open discussion with guest speakers who responded to their inquiries in a helpful and considerate manner.
