MU’s Fifth Translation Prize 2022: Winners Announced

The Department of Translation and Languages at Al Maaref University announced on Monday, May 30, 2022 the winners in the “MU’s Fifth Translation Prize 2022”, which was held by the department on the 26th of February.

The first three winners within each combination were as follows:

From English into Arabic:

First place: Zahra Hamza Al-Hawali - Al-Mahdi High School, Hadath
Second place: Amina Mohammad Halawi - Al-Mahdi Shahed High School
Third place: Najma Fawzi Saleh - Al-Mahdi High School, Bint Jbeil

From Arabic into English:

First place: Jouri Muhammad Dhaini - Al-Mahdi High School, Hadath
Second place: Mortada Adel Ismail - Al-Mahdi High School, Bint Jbeil
Third place: Rahaf Atallah Jaber - CIS college, Haret Hreik

The winners received scholarships from Al Maaref University, ranging between 100% and 60%.
