MU Students Win in “Huawei ICT Middle East 2021” Competition
Two students from Al Maaref University won the Huawei ICT Competition 2021, which is held at both local and regional levels and aims to nurture and empower the future generation of local ICT talent to effectively contribute to the region's national digitization plans and technology-driven strategies.
Student Ali Ahmed Mroueh from the Faculty of Sciences, Department of Computer Science, got the second place. In turn, student Ali Emad Haidar from the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Computer Engineering and Technology, won the third place. Both students were awarded a certificate of appreciation from the company in addition to valuable prizes.

Huawei ICT Competition Middle East 2021 is a competitive ICT (Information and Communication Technology) talent event for college students across the Middle East. The competition is aimed to promote the healthy development of the ICT talent ecosystems and support the integration of industry and education.
