MUCPC Presents: Soft Skills Boot Camp

Al Maaref University Career Placement Center (MUCPC) organized its third training workshop titled "MUCPC: Soft Skills Boot Camp." The workshop was presented by Dr. Hassan Youness, a specialist in international business and management, and Mr. Joe Shahwan, a certified career coach and skill development trainer. The event took place on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the university campus (Building A) in Beirut, with the presence of students on the verge of graduating from the Faculties of Business Administration (FBA) and Mass Communication and Fine Arts (MCFA).

Throughout the full-day workshop, various crucial aspects of professional growth were addressed, including the development of effective CVs and the art of crafting compelling cover letters. The workshop centered on enhancing participants' communication skills, exploring personal branding, and underscoring the importance of improving their profiles on the LinkedIn platform to establish a strong presence on social media. In the final segment, the workshop delved into valuable strategies for interview preparation, equipping participants with the necessary skills and confidence to navigate the competitive job market.

At the conclusion of the workshop, Dr. Abed Safadi, the center's director, presented certificates of appreciation to the trainers as a token of gratitude for their efforts.
