“National Social Security Fund (NSSF)” Workshop

The Faculty of Business Administration (FBA), at Al Maaref University (MU) held a workshop titled “An Introduction to National Social Security Fund (NSSF), on Friday the 16th of December, 2022.The workshop was presented by Dr. Haitham Fadlallah, an expert and an outstanding trainer in business and administrative law.

FBA students were introduced to the NSSF main services and programs, viz., the social, hospitalization, maternity, and retirement programs.

Fifteen different case studies related to retirement, hospitalization, and maternity claims of Lebanese employees were highlighted and thoroughly analyzed by FBA students.

In closing, FBA students discussed the Lebanese labor law and its applicability in determining salaries and wages, retirement and pension claims, and the legal duration of the vacation days.

Certificates of attendance were awarded to participants by the dean of FBA Dr. Bassam Hamdar and by the assistant dean Dr. Ali El Dirani. Furthermore, Dr. Fadlallah was awarded a special certificate for a superb and distinguished workshop.
