Orientation for New and Interested Students at FoS

The Faculty of Sciences (FoS) at Al Maaref University (MU) organized an orientation meeting for interested and new students who joined the university for the current spring semester in the Computer Science department. The event took place on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, via the Google Meet application, with the participation of more than 85 students.

The meeting was led by the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Imad Moukadem, along with Dr. Abed El Safadi and Dr. Rayane Al Sibai. They provided introductory information about the elective courses in the specialization, the core courses, their objectives, and details that every student should be familiar with before registration. Additionally, they discussed how the courses are distributed across semesters and years.

The approximately two-hour meeting included questions from students regarding various academic paths after graduation. This orientation aimed to help students gain a better understanding of the Computer Science program and its prospects at MU.
