Ramadan Seminar at MU Entitled "May You Become Righteous"
A seminar on nourishing the soul and body, entitled "May You Become Righteous", was held by the students of the Advertising and Public Relations course at the Faculty of Mass Communication and Fine Arts of Al Maaref University on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. MU campus hosted Sheikh Dr. Khalil Rizk, and Dr. Nawal Al-Zool, a nutrition specialist, in the presence of faculty students and several families and interested parties.
During the seminar, Dr. Al-Zool pointed out that "healthy food and fasting play a major role in maintaining mental and physical health," stressing that "balancing meals and exercising at the proper times during the fasting period is important."
In his turn, Sheikh Rizk addressed "the effects of prayers and fasting on the spiritual side of man, and the mechanism of acquiring habits and behaviors that reflect positively on the health of the soul and body," pointing to "the importance of the presence of MU students on the religious, cultural and media levels."
The seminar included drawing lots, distributing gifts inspired by the occasion, and presenting thank you cards in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty Dr. Ali Al-Takash. The audience interacted greatly with the topics raised by the guests through this event which is a part of the efforts that promote a healthy culture among people.
It is noteworthy that the students Fadi Hussein and Fatima Rahhal introduced the guests while the rest of the course students participated in the organizing process in terms of filming, receiving, preparing, and asking questions.
