Reading Club Launches Its Activities for the AY 21/22

The Reading Club at Al Maaref University kicked off its activities for the academic year 2021-2022 on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, with an open discussion with Dr. Sheikh Mohammad Baker Kojok at the University campus.

During the meeting, the guest discussed Sheikh Mohammad-Taqi Mesbah-Yazdi’s book “The Remembrance of Allah” [Dhikr Ullah].

The discussion, hosted by MCFA student Mustafa Khalife, entailed an introduction to the reading club’s purpose, mission, and plan for the current year. Several topics were discussed in the meeting, most notably: Knowing Allah, turning to Him, and contemplating His attributes, Aesthetic dimensions and philosophy of remembrance (Dhikr), and the three levels of remembrance; Verbal, spiritual, and practical.
