The Faculty of Business Administration at Al Maaref University held on Thursday the 12th of November, 2020 a Webinar titled: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO): Role, Path, Opportunities, and Challenges.

To speak of this topic, the Faculty proudly welcomed Mr. Ali Malik, the Chief Financial Officer of the Australian based St Johns Ambulance Corporation. Mr. Malik, shared his expertise with MU senior accounting students.

The interactive one hour webinar was an opportunity for students to exchange thoughts and ideas with the guest on issues such as: the future of the accounting profession after the COVID 19 pandemic, the strategic role of the accountants in the success of the organization, and the new skills and competencies students need to acquire to succeed in this rapidly changing world and profession.

Ali Malik has extensive experience in financial management and leadership, He is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA), and prior to his current role, He worked as Senior Accountant at KPMG Australia.
