Winners of MU's Second Mathematics Challenge Announced

Faculties of Engineering and Sciences at Al Maaref University announced on Thursday, April 22, 2021, the results of the second mathematics and IQ challenge, via a live broadcast on the university’s official Facebook page.

The top three winners received educational scholarships as follows:
First Place: Anthony Bassam Fayyad - High School Sisters of Saint Theresa, Amioun, El-Koura, received a 100% scholarship from Al Maaref University.
Second place: Maryam Sadiq Salim - Al-Batoul High School received an 80% scholarship from Al Maaref University.
Third place: Fatima Ali Sherri - Al-Batoul High School received a 60% scholarship from Al Maaref University.

The competition was held online through the "Moodle" platform on April 10, 2021, under the "Mathematics is a key to understanding the universe" emblem, in both English and French. The participants were students from the baccalaureate stage - second section, both branches of general sciences and life sciences, from various official and private secondary schools in Lebanon.
