Workshop on Content Management Systems in Website Translation

"Kitab wa Turjuman", the student club of the Translation and Languages Department at Al Maaref University (MU), organized a training workshop titled 'Introduction to Content Management Systems in Website Translation'. The workshop was conducted by Professor Zeinab Menem on Friday, May 10, 2024, at the university library (Building A) in Beirut, in the presence of the department’s chairperson, Dr. Zeinab Anis Jaber, and some of its students and alumni.

The workshop addressed the process of selecting and accessing various websites, as well as the stages of translating them comprehensively. The trainer provided a clear and seamless explanation of content management systems, aiming to clarify the steps sequentially in interactive sessions with the trainees.

Professor Menem also highlighted the challenges translators face while working on website translation and offered practical and motivational advice to the students in this regard.

The workshop witnessed active participation from the students and concluded with a group photo gathering all attendees.
