MU Launches Pfizer Campaign to Vaccinate Faculty & Staff Members
As part of its endeavor to combat the Covid-19 pandemic and its repercussions, Al Maaref University launched a campaign to vaccinate faculty and staff members, including full-timers and part-timers, on Thursday, July 1, 2021, after securing the Pfizer vaccine in an agreement with the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health.
University President Dr. Ali Aladdin stressed the importance of getting the vaccine out of a growing sense of responsibility to maintain a healthy society and thus ensure the safe return of the University family prior to commencement in the fall semester. The president also stressed the need to adhere to safe distancing and stick to precautionary measures even after taking the vaccine shot.
The first phase of the vaccination process will continue over Thursday and Friday, the 1st and 2nd of July 2021, provided that the university, spearheaded by the appointed Pandemic Preparedness Response Committee, continues to organize the subsequent vaccination phases.
