Remedial / Intensive English Program (R/IEP)

The Intensive English Program (IEP) is a three-session program intended for any MU student who do not achieve the required level of proficiency on the English language assessment tests accepted by MU.

This intensive, multi-skills program is designed for beginners who are interested in learning English for admission to major-level classes.

Students may take other major-level courses while completing the IEP courses (course prerequisites must be checked prior to such registration).

Students are expected to progress through the three-session program in one full academic year (fall, spring, and summer sessions).

The IAP comprises three courses: ENG 000 English Remedial I, ENG 050 English Remedial II, and English100 English Remedial III
