ENG202 English Communication Skills II
On completing successfully the ENG 201 course, you are permitted to take on ENG 202, the second three-credit session of the REP program.
Coursework focuses on advanced listening and speaking skills. By completing this level of the REP, you will have an opportunity to refine your oral skills for any major courses taught in English.
The delivered standards for ENG 202 is upper-intermediate to advanced level.
The course is grounded in a communicative approach that involves language games, role play, authentic materials, and also task-oriented practices.
There is a set of assessment methods used for the course such as regular assignments, quizzes, partial exams, projects and final exam (Required by the University Academic policy).
Classes meet 45 hours per fifteen-week session; 2 days per week; 3 hrs. Per week; and 1 hr and 15 min per day.
As you have gone through ENG 201 in the first semester of your study, the second course ENG 202 in the sequence of REP, has a similar form of schedule whether in fall or spring semesters.
Classes are held on Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday.
Students must be open to accepting a morning or evening schedule depending on availability.
