A Day with Students at the Start of Academic Year 2017-2018
The first day at the university marks the beginning of a new learning life, significantly different from what the students used in the previous school years. The first day of the student is a turning point in dealing with the institution, moving from the school system to the open academic world.
On Monday, 2/10/2017, the new Fall semester at Al Maaref University (Fall 2017-2018) began, with its various faculties: Engineering, Science, Business Administration, Media and Arts, Religions and Humanities, and the arrival of students to view their learning schedules.
At the University entrance, students identified their classroom numbers shown on a large screen before joining their classmates in the playground.
The University Secretary-General, the Directorate of Student Affairs, and the Directorate of Public Relations and Media received the students on their arrival in the morning.
Students were also guided to the classrooms for their first learning session, and university writing pads with pens were distributed to assist them in noting all important guidelines and policies.
All these support and academic services took place to enable new and existing students to find their way in the university and take their new but steady steps towards adapting with the requirements of the new year.
After reviewing the list of classrooms and materials, the student began to search for the required room at each floor on the screen in front of the elevator.
During break times between classes, students toured the campus, where they learned about the facilities available, especially the library, laboratories, cafeteria and more.
Members of the university wished all students of the new academic year 2017-2018 a fruitful and progressive study.
