Discussion with Association of Certified Accountants

The Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) met with the former president of the Association of Certified Accountants in Lebanon (HICT), Mr Hekmat Selim on Friday, October 26, 2017, at the University campus.

The meeting was held as part of continuous endeavor the FBA has taken to develop specialized competencies for the students and as another step to prepare qualified and trained human resources capable of running more efficiently the labor market. Important to mention that this meeting is part of a series of meetings that the FBA intends to hold with the aim to weave the best Strategic Relations with representatives of the Economic Sector, Experts, Employers and Professionals

Mr Selim discussed with the members of the faculty issues and challenges facing the accounting profession in Lebanon, pointing out his readiness to cooperate with the faculty at more than one level particularly the participation in some of the series of seminars that the faculty intends to run during Fall and Spring Semesters 2017-2018. The participants in the meeting were the Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration Dr Hussin Hijazi, Assistant Dean, Dr Ali Al-Dirani and Dr Hassan Rakein.
