Faculty of Business Administration orientation meetings

On Tuesday, December 3, 2019, the Faculty of Business Administration at Al Maaref University organized orientation meetings for the students of the faculty, presented by the Dean of the faculty, Dr. Hussin Hejase, Assistant Dean, Dr. Ali Dirani, and Accounting Department Chairperson Dr. Hasan Rkein.
The students were divided into several halls according to their major, where the instructors explained University’s & Faculty’s objectives, majors and what distinguishes the faculty from other faculties in Lebanon.
They also explained the plan to achieve in the upcoming years, stages of learning and how to divide the programs and courses, as well as the importance of each stage.
The instructors also talked about the interactive relationship between the student and the instructor, the family atmosphere that prevails in the university and the non-traditional teaching methods adopted, pointing to the advanced level and expertise of academic staff.
During the meetings, Instructors mentioned that the university uses modern curriculum & makes sure it is continuously updated, as well as non-class activities, training workshops and specialized courses organized by the faculty, and participation in external conferences and seminars.
The meetings also included an explanation of the community service contributed by the faculty students, the prospects of work for graduates and the skills and competencies required for success and creativity in the labor market.
In conclusion, the faculty devoted a section to a number of its graduates who shared their experiences with students and talked to them about their current work in institutions.
