FBA first webinar: CMA certification

The Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) at Al Maaref University hosted the Webinar “ How the Certified Management Accountant CMA Certification help students to stand out from the rest” presented by Rishi Malhotra the Academic & Community Relations Manager, Middle East & Africa (Institute of Management Accountants - IMA).

The one hour Webinar took place on Tuesday the 14^th of April at 3:00 pm Beirut time. During the Webinar, Rishi presented a rich informational session about CMA, whereby beside the formal presentation, the audience was engaged to debate controversial issues such as the role of Accountants in and after the COVID19 pandemic, the Future of Accountants and Accountancy, the value-added benefit to students, the academic fit to students’ curricula, etc.

This webinar was attended by a large number of Students (75), beside instructors, the FBA Dean Prof Hussin Hejase, Assistant Dean Dr. Ali Dirani, the President of IMA Lebanon Chapter, Ms. Christy Cattouf, in addition to Mr. Hussin Nasser, the President of the Scientific Association of Accountants and Business Administration.

This Webinar is the first of a series of Webinars the FBA intends to host over the coming months. This Webinar program is in place to equip students with skills, competencies, and knowledge by bringing them the latest on all topics. Dr. Hassan Rkein, Chairman of Accounting Dept. was the moderator of this event.
