FBA second Webinar: Managing Virtual Teams & COVID-19 Virus

The Faculty of Business Administration at Al Maaref University organized in collaboration with Morgan International, its 2nd Webinar under the title: Managing Virtual Teams on Thursday, Apr 30, 2020 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.

The workforce in its majority, amid the worldwide COVID-19 virus pandemic, have moved to work virtually leading organizations to offer near support to make sure the flow of work continues. However, is dealing with the virtual workforce and virtual teams similar to the classical work in the office? What particular features are to be considered? Is virtual trust possible? And many other questions are calling the attention of the workforce and their leadership.

This webinar aimed to deal with challenges concerning managing teams virtually by addressing the below questions:

How to create a high performing virtual team?
How to manage a virtual team?
How to conduct virtual team meetings?
How to evaluate the work of virtual teamwork?

The webinar was delivered by Mr. Fadi Ganni, CEO of Morgan International, in the presence of FBA Dean Professor Hussin Hejase, FBA Assistant Dean, Dr. Ali El Dirani who was moderating the webinar, Accounting Department Chairman, Dr. Hasan Rkein, in addition to a number of administrative staff, FBA students and attendees from the community.

Mr. Ganni has more than 25 years of international experience in training and consultancy and is leading one of the most successful institutions specialized in professional certification and diploma programs catering to the needs of the finance, accountancy, human resources, marketing, and logistics’ fields.
