The quarterly meeting of Media and Arts Faculty
On Tuesday, December the 10th of 2019, Media and Arts Faculty at Al Maaref University organized the periodic quarterly meeting for its students, attended by the Faculty Dean Dr. Ali Takash and its professors.
Zeinab Al-Moussawi, a student in the faculty, started the meeting by welcoming the attendees blessing them the new semester. Then, the first-year student Mustafa Al-Haj made a sudden statement which focused on the popular protests taking place in Lebanon. Further, the faculty allocated a poetic part, where the two students Ali Balaghi and Muhammad Mahdi Abdel Karim delivered several poems written by them.
The student Mostufa Awada in cooporation with his partner Nour hazimeh screened the film project “Noon Al-Niswa”, which was prepared and carried out by faculty students last year on the occasion of the anniversary of the July War.
The meeting included a literary section entitled "My wounded country", written by the second-year student Fatima Murtada – in addition, The "Ardi" exhibition team, consisting of the students: Sarah Fran, Jana Issa, Nevin Yehfoufi and Ali Marmar, presented their experiences in covering the exhibition, internal radio, and preparing photo reports.
It is noteworthy that during the meeting, the faculty launched the social media pages of the "Arabitna" project, which will be displayed soon. The student Zainab Al-Zain delvered a closing statement in which she stressed the need for cooperation between students from all years to complete projects in the fullest way.
The meeting ended, and several souvenir photos were shooted.
