Training Design and Implementation in light of Needs Analysis
In continuation of its specialized workshop program, the Faculty of Business Administration at Al Maaref University organized, in collaboration with Global Technology and Management Consultancy (GTMC), a workshop for HRM majoring students, titled: "Training and Development in Action & the Modular Concept of Training", on 22 and 24 May 2018.
The HRM workshop was delivered by professional trainer and consultant Dr Ghinwa Mikdashi. During the workshop, students learned how to design a full training program based on Training Needs Analysis (TNA) of the organizational, operational and employee individual levels, as well as the various methods and tools used to implement and assess/evaluate training programs interactively and in an effective and efficient way.
The various training methods and tools, advantages and disadvantages, were discussed, and reviewing many up-to-date e-learning methods and the importance of integrating them with traditional methods when needed.
During the two-day workshop, students were able to learn how to evaluate training programs, measure results, and monitor changes in the performance and behaviors of individuals, improvement in management processes and operations more broadly.
The workshop was characterized with a fully engaging atmosphere and meaningful application activities within teams.
At the end of the workshop, Dr. Ali El Dirani, Assistant Dean of the Faculty, presented certificates of participation to students and a certificate of appreciation for the trainer, Dr Ghinwa Mikdashi.
