A delegation from the University of Al Maaref headed by the University President, Prof. Ali Alaeddine, Vice President and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Jalal Jomaa, Vice President for Development and Quality, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Prof. Hussein Hijazi and the Legal Consultant of the University, Dr. Ali Ghosn, visited the Secretary General of the National Council for Scientific Research, Professor. Muain Hamza, on Monday, 24/7/2017.

After the welcome, Dr Ali Alaeddine explained the university's goals and mission, and interest in the scientific pursuit that sustains rigorous scientific methods that engage students in a culture of student-centric learning environment with special attention to have students graduating from the university with the skills that qualify him to succeed in the labor market. He also expressed the University's desire to participate in the programs of the National Council for Scientific Research and work on having a permanent Cooperation in the interest of higher education and scientific research in Lebanon.

After that, Professor Hamza thanked the delegation for the visit and expressed his willingness to cooperate. He welcomed the university's admission to many programs of the National Council and called on the university to view and sign the charter of scientific research ethics because of its importance.

At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to continue communication to strengthen the relationship and implement what was agreed upon in the discussion.
