Al Maaref University & "Man Ahyaha" Organization
In the framework of strengthening the cooperation between Al Maaref University and humanitarian organizations and institutions, the university held a cooperation agreement ceremony on December 19th, 2019 with the "Man Ahyaha" Organization. The agreement was signed by, Dr. Ali Alaeddine, the president of Al Maaref University and Dr. Imad Chams, the president of "Man Ahyaha" Organization in the presence of Dr. Mohamad Bsheir, the Executive Director of Alrasoul Alazam (PBUH) Hospital, along with Mrs. Fatima Zaraqet, Dr. Mohamad Hussein Elsayed, the Head Manager of the Organs’ Transplantation Department at the hospital, Mrs. Suzan Alkhalil, the public relation and media contact, the University's board members, and involved directors, therein.
After a welcoming word by Dr. Alaeddine, the President stressed the importance of such "agreement and the shared role in building a responsible human being and a messenger for all virtues; in addition to spreading the concept of giving and conscious, and for this individual to be compassionate towards his/her community's needs, and to be a role model in reflecting the true image of humanity brotherhood." He added that the University is trying to build this loving human being who benefits others in both word and deed, by which that will complete the objective in presenting a unique university's experience that will serve in the rising of our society and in enhancing its inviolability and strong presence.
Dr. Alaeddine acknowledged the president, members, and volunteers of "Man Ahyaha" Organization for their confidence in the University humanitarian's role in spreading the culture of solidarity and endowment in the cause of Allah, and in carrying an honorable humane responsibility", and he pointed out that “this agreement and collaboration between the university and the organization will be invested for the advantage of our society that deserves from us all the effort, hard work, granting, and giving.”
In return, Dr. Chams, the President of the organization valued the efforts accomplished by the University and mentioned that “for the last eighteen months, there was a joint collaboration with Al Maaref University in conducting periodic lectures and presentations to raise awareness and build a culture of organs’ donation and human's tissues." He added that the collaboration protocol that was to be signed in this ceremony will offer both parties the opportunity to provide the needed help and facilitation in serving this humane cause that aims saving an ill person who won't find cure except through receiving organs' donations after the brain death of a donor.
At the end of the ceremony, both parties had signed agreements' contracts and exchanged different medals of both institutions.
